The Station was built in the early 1900's.  It was an old trolley car barn.  After the trolleys, it was converted to a Bus barn (know as the Mass Northeastern Bus Lines).  In the early 1960's, a construction company bought it to house and repair it's equipment while building Interstate 495.  In 1974, the Town bought it and in 1976 after much rehab, the Merrimac Police, Fire and Highway made their Home in this building.
